        Annotations:

        • Recognition is merely an acceptance of the existence. Which antecedes  the act of recognition.

        Annotations:

        • Recognition of the statehood of certain international entity
        1. Of Governments

          Annotations:

          • Recognition of governments as distincts from states is now abolished. Recognition of a state implies recognition of its government
          1. De Facto

            Annotations:

            • Implies cognition of the new state of affairs but is pendant of a definitive recognition. It might be a "sub judice" recognition until a definitive decision is made
            1. De Iure

              Annotations:

              • Implies full recognition of capacities and personality of the state. Legal consequences.

                1. Internationally

                  Annotations:

                  • Recognition of a state has effects in the International level. However it cannot be argued that non recognition of a states deemes it free from following norms of non agression
                  1. Internally

                    Annotations:

                    • It can be said that to the domestic level recognition is constitutive because once the superior entity of the state recognizes other states, the autorithies at a lesser level are obliged to accept this recognition.
