Centurion; My servant lies at home
paralyzed and in terrible suffering

Paralytic on a mat
Jesus; Take heart son
your sins are forgiven
Teachers of law; This
fellow is Blaspheming
Jesus; which is easier to say, your sins are
forgiven or get p and walk? But so you know
the son of man has authority to forgive sins
Jesus; Get up and take your
mat and go home

Capernaum, the people heard
that he had come home. They
gathered in such large number
that there was no room left,
not even outside the door, and
he PREACHED TO THEM.
2.Some men came,
bringing to him a
paralysed man,
carried by four of
them. Since they
could not get him to
Jesus because of the
crowd they made an
opening in the roof
above Jesus by
digging through it
and then lowered
the mat the mat the
man was lying in
3. When Jesus
saw their FAITH
he said to the
paralysed man
Immediately Jesus knew his spirit that this was what they were thinking in their hearts, and said to them, "WHY ARE YOU THINKING THESE THINGS ? "
illness=sin
"Son, You sins are forgiven"
Now some teachers of the Law were sitting their
"why does this fellow talk
like that ? He's blaspheming
who can for give our sins but
god alone
"why are you thinking these things? which is easier: to say to a paralysed man"
