Congruence of Triangles -
Two or more figures are called congruent, if they have the same shape and size.
Rules for congruence of triangles are -
Some properties of a Triangle -
Angles opposite to equal sides of an isosceles triangle are equal.
If we are given that, in triangle ABC, sides AB and AC are equal, we can say that angle B is equal to angle C.
The sides opposite to equal angles of a triangle are equal.
This is the converse of the earlier property, where, when given that angles B and C are equal, we can say that sides AB and AC are equal.
