Question Answer
"SSS" or Side-Side-Side Congruency If all sides of one triangle are congruent to the corresponding sides on another triangle, then the two triangles are congruent
"SAS" or Side-Angle-Side Congruency If two side lengths and the angle between them are congruent to the corresponding sides and angle on another triangle, then the two triangles are congruent
"ASA" or Angle-Side-Angle Congruency If two angles and the side between them are congruent to the corresponding angles and side on another triangle, then the two triangles are congruent
"AAS" or Angle-Angle-Side Congruency If two angles and the side length next to one of them (not between) are congruent to the corresponding angles and sides on another triangle, then the triangles are congruent.
H Longest side of a triangle
Legs The two shorter sides of a triangle
Hypotenuse-Leg Theorem If the hypotenuse and one leg of a triangle are congruent to the hypotenuse and corresponding leg of another triangle, the two triangles are congruent.
