  1. un - unhappy, unfriendly, unusual, unemployed, untidy, unkind, unpleasant.
    1. un - is the most common;
    2. in: is often used before words with Latin origin;
      1. e.g: invisible, inadequate; informal;
      2. il - can be used before 'l'. E.g.illegible
        1. illegible
        2. ir - is only used before a few words beginning with 'r'
          1. irresponsible
          2. dis- used before some adjectives;
            1. e.g. dishonest, dislike, disagree
            2. im - is used before some words beginning with 'm'or 'p'.
              1. e.g. impolite, impossible, impatient. immoral.
