     • READ ONLY MEMORY
   • What is often stored in it?
     • Programs your computer needs to run properly
   • What happens when you turn the power off?
     • These programs and files are permanent and so they don't get deleted
   • can you read and write data?
     • No you can't write data and files, but you can read the data hence the name READ ONLY MEMORY
