EROSION

TRANSPORTATION
1. Traction - Big rocks roll along the sea bed
2. Saltation - Material bounces along the sea bed
3. Suspension - Material floats in the water
4. Solution - Material dissolved in the water
LONGSHORE DRIFT -->
1. The waves come in at an angle, however the backwash is always at a 90º angle due to gravity. Therefore, this process is repeated and material is carried down the beach in the opposite direction of the prevailing winds
