  1. Sometimes the plates stick then suddenly move
    1. This causes an earthquake

Destructive plates
1. On these boundaries there are often big earthquakes
  1. Sometimes they will create a big tsunami
  2. Eg./ the Indian Ocean tsunami
2. At this boundary an island arc is usually found, on a mountain range
Constructive margins
1. When two plates move apart a new crust is developed
2. Mostly in oceans
3. They can be found on land
