Resource summary
Magnets
Magnets have two poles, the north pole and the south pole. If a magnet is freely suspended the north point will point to the north pole of the world.
Steel, nickel, iron and cobalt are the four magnetic materials
To test whether on not a material is a magnet see if it attracts one end and repels on the other
Magnetic materials contain small molecular magnets called domains
If a magnetic material is not a magnet it's domains point in differnet directions
