My Audience

My AudienceBBFC Rating: 15. We have decided to rate our film a 15 becausein the film there will be some scenes that contain violence which willbe unsuitable for younger people. We also feel that the storyline willbe too complex for a younger audience so they would not fullyunderstand it. Demographic: Our target audience is teenagers aged 15-19. This is because most of the actors are within this age group or slightly olderso they may feel closer to the film. Slightly older people may also enjoythe film, however, younger people would be not suited to watch it. Psychographic: Some hobbies that our target audience will have is watchingfilms. Our target audience will most likely be D - working class on the ABC1 scale.This is down to them having low paid jobs working part time only, as they may stillbe in full time education. Target: combination of both new and old media so that the film gets out to everybody. Some older people cannot use new media such as the internet so they look for new films to watch by magazines or radio.
