A long time ago, in a galaxy far far away... Star Wars, the sic-fi phenomenon everyone is talking about. It is a fictional universe created by George Lucas, released for the first time on May 25th 1977, as Star Wars (which later became Star Wars Episode IV: A New Hope). The whole fictional universe revolves around the Force, the mystical power that surrounds us all and lives inside every living thing. The Jedi, the light side; the Sith, the dark side; the Republic, the Rebellion, the Galactic Empire, and today the Resistance and the First Order; are all part of this universe, and have confronted each other for years. The most impressive thing about Star Wars (on 1977) was its special effects, which were very advanced and amazing at the time. Also, the storyline is very well made and it leaves you with intrigue and excitement for the next movie. Actually, The Empire Strikes Back (Episode V) is considered the best sequel movie of all time. There were hundreds of people involved on the making of Star Wars, including the actors who gave life to each of the characters that now are in our hearts. The main cast of this fantastic saga is formed by: Mark Hamill (Luke Skywalker), Harrison Ford (Han Solo), Carrie Fisher (Princess Leia), Antony Daniels (C-3PO), Kenny Baker (R2-D2), David Prowse (Darth Vader), James Earl Jones (Vader's Voice), Peter Mayhew (Chewbacca), Alec Guiness (Obi Wan Kenobi), Billy Dee Williams (Lando Calrissian), Frank Oz (Yoda), and others. The science fiction franchise has become a huge success all over the world, making itself known by its movies, books, comics, video games, toys and animated shows. Star Wars is a classical movie that all should watch at least once in their lives.
