- 1Command Line interfaceUsers have to enter information using a special set of words and symbols. This was not very user friendly and took skilled ICT workers to use

this is more user friendly and does not ake a skilled ICT user to use - 3Graphical User InterfaceThis is what is most common today operating systems like Windows, Linux and OSX all use a GUI small pictures are used to represent options.
- 4Voice interfaceMicrophones are used in which the user speaks commands and the computer interoperates these and performs the instructions given

- 8Touch sensitive interface Advantages/DisadvantagesAdvantage-Its very self explanatory and you don't need special training to use it.
Disadvantage-The touch sensitive screen can become scratched and dirty and this may effect performance of the product. - 9Advantages of a command line/DisadvantagesAdvantage-Instructions are executed quickly.
Advantage-Instructions are versatile user can select from a number of options.
Disadvantage-If an instruction is mistyped or spelt wrong then it cannot be executed. - 10Advantages/Disadvantages to Menu interfacesAdvantage-Its easy to navigate through the menus.
Disadvantage-Can be difficult to find the exact program wanted.
Advantage-The interface is self intuitive and is easy to learn your way around.
