Filtration - pumped through filters to remove any remaining particles.
Sterilisation - chlorine added to kill micro-organisms in water.
Balancing pH - measure of acidity is changed so that water is not acid or alkaline.
Fluoridation - fluorine added to reduce chance of tooth decay
