- 4Factor TheoremIf f(x) is a polynomial and f(p) = 0, then (x-p) is a factor of f(x). The reverse is also true; If (x-p) is a factor of f(x), then f(p) =0.
Note: MUST say by factor theorem at the end of you proof.
