- 1What is Vague?A word or phrase is vague if we cannot say with certainty what it includes and what it excludes.
- 2What is Ambiguous?A word, phrase, or sentence is said to be ambiguous when it has more than one meaning.

- 5Syntactic Ambiguityoccurs when a claim is open to two or more interpretations because of its structure
- 6Ambiguous pronoun referencesoccur when it is not clear to what or whom a pronoun is supposed to refer.
