Flashcards
PE-Physiology-Mechanics of movement- Newtons law of motion
Flashcards do conjunto (4)
- 1What are the 3 laws?1. First law of Inertia
2. Second law of acceleration
3. Third law of action/reaction - 2What does the first law inertia state? That an object will remain in a state of rest or constant velocity until an external force is applied to it
- 3What does the second law of acceleration state? That the rate of change of momentum is proportional to the force causing it and takes place in the direction in which the force acts
Force =
Mass ✖️ acceleration - 4What does the third law of action/reaction state? That for every action there in an equal and opposite reaction (direction)
