- 1What is reverse scoringYou can phrase questions so that some are worded in appositive direction and others are worded in a negative direction. Then you have to reverse score the negative items before calculating the totals.
- 2What is correlation co-efficienttells you whether two variables are related. Correlation co-effocoent can range from -1/+1. If two variables have a correlation of zero, IT means that there is no relationship between them.
- 3What is a Positive CorrelationIt means that high scores on one variable are associated with high scores on the other variable. Or low scores on one are associated with low score on other variable.
- 4What is a negative correlationThere is still a relationship between them but they are related in opposite directions. High score on one variable are associated with low score on other variable. If coefficient is closer to -1 the stronger the negative correlation.
- 5What is a correlationA way of measuring the extent to which two distributions(relationship) or scores(variables) are related to each other
- 6What is statistical significance mean?An effect is statistically significant if statistics reveal that it or a larger effect, is unlikely to occur by chance often more than one in 20 times.
