- 1What does CPU stand for?Central Processing Unit
- 2What is the CPU?The brain of the computer?
- 3What are the three main commands?Fetch, decode, execute.
- 4What is the fetch process?Gathering the information.
- 5What is the decode process?Translating the instructions into binary.
- 6What is the Execute process?When the computer actually performs the task.
- 7What is a core?A core is a processing unit in the CPU. More cores = more channels to do commands quicker.
- 8What is clock speed?Clockspeed is how many instructions the computer can do in a second.
- 9What is clock speed measured in?Hertz
- 10How is Clock speed measured?By a tiny vibrating crystal. However many times it vibrates is the amount of hertz it is.
