- 1UNIT 10.1 the meaning of God as unity and why it is important for Christians to believe this ?1 - teachings in both new and old testament teach there is only ONE God.

2 - universe is not an accident, god created everything in it and therefore universe is good.
3 - life is sacred because God created it. this belief gives Christians the responsibility of safeguarding his creation
4 - God made the universe for humans, shows Gods love.
5 - God continued to be the creator. seen in the life, death and resurrection of Jesus, which brought salvation.
