- 1Networking SwitchPurpose Of Network Switch?
A switch is used to direct incoming and outgoing data transmissions between computing devices and the cloud - 2RouterPurpose of a Router
A router is used to accept incoming and outgoing data from computers and the cloud. The router acts as a gate way for which data enters and exits. A router can block data it is malicious
- 3Wireless RouterA wireless router is used only for portable devices that rely on Wi - Fi connections to receive and send and send data from computing devices and the cloud.
- 4Fibre OpticA fibre optic cable is 5 glass coated lines that carry light. Light is used to send data from one location to another
- 5Coaxial CableA coaxial cable contains small copper wires that carry data through electrical current. These are much smaller compared to fibre optic as the data diminishes during data transfer.
- 6Twisted Coaxial PairElectrical signal communication through wires. This is not energy efficient. Medium noise contamination. Less affected by external magnetic inference.
