- 1AlgorithmA process or set of rules to be followed in calculations or other problem solving operations especially by computers.
- 2SelectionA question is asked, and depending on the answer; the program takes one of two courses of action

- 11pseudocodeA language that is similar to a real programming language, but is easier for humans to understand although it doesn't actually run on a computer. It can easily be converted to a regular programming language.
- 12IdentifierThe 'name' given to a variable
- 13ConstantA value that does not change while the program is running
- 14CommentA piece of information for the programmer. It doesn't form part of the program and is not executed by the computer. It is for information only.
- 15OperatorThe symbol that tells the computer what to do
- 16OperandThe data the operator is working on
- 17Relational operatorAn operator that compares two items of data
- 18Logical OperatorOperator such as AND,OR,NOT, which performs a Boolean operation on some inputs.
