- 1Linear NarrativeA narrative with a logical structure, that is a chronological structure. It has a clear beginning middle and end.
- 2Non Linear NarrativeA narrative with no set structure so it isn't in chronological order, it has a beginning, middle and end but it doesn't happen in that same order. There are usually flashbacks and flash forwards.
- 3Circular NarrativeWhere the narrative starts and ends with the same actions.
