- 1ACCURACYData needs to be accurate. If it is not accurate, you cannot rely on the info it provides.
- 2RELEVANCEData must be relevant. If the info does not relate to the topic...it is worthless. Having irrelevant info can be a disadvantage.
- 3AGEData may be too old. Info changes over time. If the info is from the past, it may not be relevant now.
- 4COMPLETENESSIf you only have part of the info, then it is worthless. Data requires a context, structure and meaning for it to have value and be useful.
- 5PRESENTATIONIf the info is presented in a way that you can't understand or find what you want, it loses value. T can be improved by using different representation methods-picture instead of text.
- 6LEVEL OF DETAILYou can be given too much or too little information. The volume of data determines whether you have enough to make a decision or too much.
