Would you like to play sticks?

No

Goodbye!

Yes

Ok, this is how to play. Me and you take turns taking 1, 2 or 3 sticks from a pile of 21. The last person to take a stick wins! Press R if you're ready to continue.

If R is pressed

Would you like to go first, or shall I? Press P if you want to go first, or C if you want me to go first.

If player presses P

If player presses C

If player presses something other than C or P

Sorry, I don't understand!

*ask again*

Sure, you go! How many sticks would you like- 1, 2 or 3?

If player types something that isn't 1, 2 or 3

Sorry, I don't understand!

*ask again*

If the player types in 1, 2 or 3

If the remaining number of sticks is 0

You've won! Well done! Another round? Maybe I'll win this time.

If multiple sticks remain

You have taken x number of sticks, so y remain

Okay, I'll go!

If more than 3 sticks remain

If 3 or less sticks remain

I've taken the rest- there's no more left! Looks like I win! Care to play another round?

If player says yes

If player says no

Goodbye!

I take a random amount of sticks between 1 and 3, so y remain

Something other than yes or no
