1. Fire wall

   • Protect (a network or system) from unauthorized access with a firewall
     • It is used because a firewall stops unwanted thing to go onto your computer e.g. viruses
     • They are used on any device

2. Passwords

   • Finger print
   • A password is something which you have to unlock on a device so you could get into it. Its a good idea to have a password because you might have private things that you don't want people to see so if you didn't have a password people would go on your device and look at your things
   • It could be good by adding different numbers, a minimum of 8 characters, a different range of letters and use lower case and upper case
   • Password are used when using a computer login in to apps e.g. Facebook, Instagram, and also Snapchat. Another reason when a password is used is when you go onto your phone
   • Passwords are usually used at home or in school

3. Anti-virus

   • Designed to detect and destroy anti-viruses

4. Encryption

   • The process of converting information or data into a code, especially to prevent unauthorized access
