1. Components

   • There are various principal components of a computer system
     • Central Processing Unit (CPU)
     • Main memory, which contains Read Only Memory (ROM) and Random Access Memory (RAM)
     • Peripherial devices, which are also known as Input and Output devices
       • Three of the main components of a computer system

2. Computer system is the combination of Hardware and Software devices

   • Input and Output devices can be either Hardware or Software devices since they can be used to run programs and perform tasks on the computer and the systems
     • Input devices
       • An input device is a hardware or peripheral device used to send data to a computer.
     • Output devices
       • An output device is any device used to send data from a computer to another device or user.
   • Software is a term used to refer to the programs, documentation or processes done in a computer that must be done by coding or digital processes.
   • Hardware is the term used to refer to the physical structure of a computer
