1. Firewall

   • It's either hardware or software, it controls what comes into your computer.
   • Everyone can use firewall, it is usually built into a computer
   • Operating systems, windows, mac devices or routers etc can use it

2. Mac address filtering

   • It's an address that is automatically given to a user.
   • Filtering is when only certain MAC addresses can access a network

3. Social Engineering

   • Social Engineering is manipulating people to give you their personal information

4. Blagging and shoulder surfing

   • Blagging- Convincing people that you're someone else to get information such as an email and password
   • Shoulder surfing- Looking over peoples shoulders to gain the information such as the pin number or addresses

5. Pharming and Phishing

   • Phishing- Deceiving someone via email to give them information, they usually pose as people from big buisnesses
