          1. This specie is endemic of San Francisco, and only locate in the North and Southwest of California; they live secretively in wetlands or grasslands near ponds, marshes and sloughs, where they're able to retreat into water if disturbed or endangered, in autumn and winter they can be found on earth and upland areas and may overwinter there
          2. Growth states
            1. They are oviparous, so they born from an egg, then grow into snakelets, they feed from small rodents and reptiles, once they grow they turn into adult snakes, completing it's life cycle and getting the corresponding diet of their species, then they die, as all animals.
            2. Types of feeding
              1. They have a carnovore diet, it's mayor income of food are amphibious animals, such as the red legged frog, pacific tree frogs, California newts, western toads and mosquitofish
              2. Types of reproduction
                1. The SF garter snake reproduces by breeding and fertilization method, means that they leave their sperm in the female, and leave them to produce and hatch the eggs that contains the specimens. The eggs can hatch in 13-14 weeks.
