Resumo de Recurso

ROM
  1. RAM
    1. Random Access Memory
      1. The RAM is where all data about what the computer is running is stored.
        1. The data is wiped every time you turn off your computer
        2. Unlike ROM, RAM can be accessed and changed at any point during the computer being turned on.
          1. There are two types of RAM
            1. Static RAM (SRAM) doesn't have to constantly refresh as it doesn't have a capacitor in each cell and doesn't change
              1. Dynamic RAM (DRAM) has a capacitor in each cell so has to constantly refresh and is changing
              2. RAM is volatile because it is wiped every time you turn off the computer
              3. Read Only Memory
                1. ROM is used to store all the start up information; This can't be edited because if it is the computer won't start
                  1. Unlike RAM, ROM can't be changed at any point but it stays constantly on the computer
                    1. ROM is non-volatile
