Accessing Values in Strings
- What is a string?
- Strings are derived data types. A string in Python is a sequence of characters. Strings are immutable. This means that once defined, they cannot be changed. (Unless you edit them)
- Strings use square brackets ( [ ] ) to enclose the code like this example below
- print "var1[0]: ", var1[0] print "var2[1:5]: ", var2[1:5]

Shell
- Shell is the main coding interface which has automatic code giving it a trouble to make a bigger code without interference
- Pressing Ctrl + N opens a new window helping people make a big code then saving to see it in action
