     • How fast the device processes instructions

     • Can store more frequently accessed instruction/data
     • Programs will load faster
   • Why ?

     • To store more frequently accessed instructions/data
   • What ?
     • Very small- measured in MB
     • Can process these instructions faster

4. Cores

   • How ?
     • Improves multitasking
     • Improves performance by allowing multiple applications to run at the same time
   • Why ?
     • Good for multitasking
     • Minimum specification for software not being met
   • What ?
     • Individual processors
     • Allows the device to run applications simulataneously
