1. BIOS

   • BIOS stands for Basic input output system
   • You can do many things in the BIOS, Like change the date time, useful for calenders or any programs that would need the date/time, You can also set passwords so that it is harder for people to change anything in the computer

2. Operating system

   • An Operating system is used to interact with the components inside the device
   • Linux has a wide range of operating systems, such as Ubuntu, Linux Mint, moonOS and more.
   • Linux are not the only people to make operating systems, for example, there is Microsoft Windows, Apple OS, Etc

3. Components

   • The hard drive is used to store data, for example the operating system
   • You will need to get some PATA or SATA cables to connect your hard drive or optical drive to your motherboard, You will need these cables as they transfer data between the different components.
   • The ROM (Read Only Memory) is used to load up the computer so that the hard drive can load up the operating system.
