Multiple Intelligences

1. Intelligence is not defined as a single one but as a set that groups different specific capacities, which are related to each other .

   • Interpersonal intelligence: This type of intelligence allows us to understand others. It consists of relating to others, helping people to identify and overcome problems. It has the ability to manage human relationships and empathy, recognize and respond to the feelings and personalities of others.
   • Naturalistic intelligence: It consists of the understanding of the natural environment and the scientific observation of nature

2. Logical-mathematical intelligence: It is the ability we have to solve logical and mathematical problems. It has the skills we need to handle mathematical operations and reason correctly.

3. Linguistic-verbal intelligence: The ability of a person to speak easily. It has good use of language, emphasizing the meaning of words, their order, punctuation.

4. Visual-Spatial Intelligence: The ability to create a mental model of shapes, colors and textures. It is linked to the imagination. It is the ability to present ideas visually, create mental images, perceive visual details, draw and make, make visual creations and visualize with precision.

5. Kinaesthetic-body intelligence or kinaesthetic-body intelligence: The ability to control the movements of the entire body for physical activity. It is used to perform activities such as sports, which require coordination and controlled rhythm.

6. Intrapersonal intelligence: It is our ability to relate to ourselves, understand what we do and value our own actions. It allows us to understand our needs and characteristics, as well as our strengths and weaknesses.

   • Musical intelligence: It is the ability that allows us to create sounds, rhythms and melodies. It helps us to create new sounds to express emotions and feelings through music.
