- To increase the width of a pulse or to produce a time delay within a circuit as the frequency of the output signal is always the same as that for the trigger pulse input
Astable Multivibrator
- Multivibrators which have no stable state i.e. the multivibrators in which the output continuously oscillates between two permissible states.
