1. Pattern recognition

   • a repeating sequence

2. Algorithm

   • a process or set of rules to be followed in calculations or other problem-solving operations, especially by a computer.
     • example:-Step by step instructions

3. abstraction

   • the act of obtaining or removing something from a source
     • i.e. it only provides the vital information, instead of the information and unnecessary dialogue

4. Decomposition

   • the act of breaking down a complex or difficult problem into lots of more manageable problems, before adding them all up
