   • is a treatment technique that uses electromagnetic radiation of origin natural or artificial for the treatment of diseases. The applied light can be visible, infrared or ultraviolet radiation.​

   • it is a practice within Physiotherapy employing static magnetic fields or permanent on the body.

8. Mechanotherapy and pressotherapy

   • is a discipline that encompasses within physiotherapy and is defined as the art and science of treatment of different illnesses and injuries, through mechanical devices.
