Security systems for the user in the industry

Security systems for the user in the industry

1. Definition

   • Is the set of rules established to reduce or avoid, the risks that may be found in the industrial field, derived from industrial activity.
     • Dangers
       • Physicists
         • Included are falls, trips, crushing, fractures, burns, etc.
       • Mechanics
         • They derive from machines and tools that can be used incorrectly
       • Hazard prevention equipment
         • protection by programming
           • this protection is the least manipulable by users because it is programmed into the software and is only activated in specific cases.
         • safety relays
           • have applications for actuation and de-actuation of components using sensor-generated signals
             • inductive security detector
               • detects faults such as breaks or short circuits to prevent incidents and also sends signals to the safety relays.
         • safety door switch
           • is used to block access doors or gates to hazardous areas.
         • emergency stop button
           • This button has the function to make a general stop of the process in case of accidents or failures in the system.
         • Photoelectric safety sensors
           • safety edges
             • are used when there are moving edges that suggest risks to the safety of persons.
           • Safety control units
             • allows to connect and control security systems such as sensors.
           • Safety light barriers
             • They are sensors with a light beam to prevent the entry of persons into unsafe areas, as well as the transfer of the product to danger zones.
