Intelligence - Thomas Samuel

1. Emotional Intelligence

   • ability to understand and use/manage your own emotions in a positive way that will cause a relief of stress and effective communication (Smith, 2021)

2. General Intelligence

   • Construct that is made up of different cognitive abilities. These abilities allow people to gain knowledge and solve problems(Cherry, 2021).

3. Fluid and Crystalized

   • Fluid intelligence is the Ability to reason and think flexibly and Crystalized intelligence is the amount f knowledge that is built up including facts, skills, that are picked up as you gain more life experiences (Cherry, 2021).

4. Triarch Theory

   • Theory designed by psychologist Robert Sternberg is the process which shows three types of intelligence; Practical, Distinct, and Analytical which all affect the ability to think creatively, analyticaliy analyzing different situations, and discusses that intelligence isn't a fixed outcome, it comes from developed abilities (Vinney, 2020).

5. Multiple

   • Theory prosed by Howard Gardner, people don't just have intellectual intelligence, but people can posses the ability to inherit different types of intelligences like musical, interpersonal, spatial-vision, and linguistic (Cherry, 2021).

7. Linguistic Intelligence

   • the ability to think in words and use language to express yourself and allows people to understand different languages and process it into speech (Sternberg, 1994).
   • People who specialize in this intelligence excel in written and spoken language
   • In my experience, I have noticed that I sometimes struggle with saying what I am thinking and processing my words

8. Musical Intelligence

   • Musical intelligence refers to the skill in the performance, composition, and appreciation of musical patterns(Marenus, 2020)
   • People who specialize in this intelligence excel in depicting music notes, sounds, beats, tone, and is musically intend
   • Personally, I feel as if I am musically intend, but to certain level. I am not able to understand music notes and trembles, but I am good and realizing beats and music sounds in my preferred genre
