   • Named columns
   • Semi-grouped by career type
   • Several informative Attributes: Career, release year, career type
   • Contains a primary key = ID

2. Task

   • The aim of the web application is to display Barbie data to Barbie enthusiasts and allow them to search for information on either Barbie Dolls products and/or the Cinematic Universe.
     • Prescribed Criteria
       • Web application displays Barbie Data from an external data source.
       • Web application allows a user to search the Barbie data.

3. Developer Environment

   • SQL
     • SQL will be used to develop the modified barbie careers database.
   • HTML
     • HTML will be used to create the website and form a structure.
   • CSS
     • CSS will be used to add colour, format and ensure the website is aesthetically pleasing.
   • Python
     • Python will be used to code the functions and run in the website with all the components.

4. Data types

   • Integer
     • A whole, negative or positive, number which can be zero.
   • VARCHAR
     • Holds characters of variable length.
   • Text
     • Stores any kind of text data, similar to VARCHAR, however, it can store more

5. Negatives of the dataset chosen: Barbie Careers

   • The non-key attribute Career Types depends on the other non-key attribute Careers and therefore, is not in third normal form.
   • The dataset cannot be edited easily since it is not normalised
