     • Models relationships between variables and theories.
     • Provides theoretical bases for research design, questions, analysis, and interpretation (Leshem & Trafford, 2007).
     • Enhances coherence and clarity in the research process (Schram, 2006).

2. How to construct it?

   • Review Literature Sources
     • Identify relevant topics, concepts, and theories (e.g., teacher motivation and learner performance).
   • Extract Key Points
     • Summarize main findings and merge them into a unified position.
   • Define Relationships
     • Connect variables, theories, and key findings either narratively or schematically.
   • Illustrate
     • Use figures or diagrams to depict relationships (e.g., Shikalepo's schematic presentation).
