    1. worse when lying down
      1. morning vomiting
      2. change in
        1. mood
          1. personality
            1. educational performance
            2. visual field defects
              1. from lesions pressing on optic pathways
                1. e.g. craniopharyngioma (pituitary tumour)
              2. cranial nerve abnormalities
                1. diplopia
                  1. new-onset squint
                    1. facial nerve palsy
                      1. caused by pontine lesions
                      2. CN VI
                        1. long intracranial course
                          1. often affected when there is raise Pa ->
                            1. squint w/ diplopia
                              1. inability to abduct the eye beyond the midline
                                1. false localising sign
                        2. abnormal gait
                          1. torticollis (tilting of head)
                            1. growth failure e.g.
                              1. craniopharyngioma
                                1. hypothylamic lesion
                                2. papilloedema
                                  1. a late feature
                                  2. cranial bruits
                                    1. may be heard in arteriovenous malformations
                                      1. AVMs are rare
