Diet for an Average Non-athletic, healthy adult
  1. Intake per day 1600-2800 k cal
    1. Bread, cerial, rice, pasta, grains
      1. 6-11 serves
        1. 1 slice of bread/toast
          1. 1/2 slice roll/muffin
            1. 3 slices - cracker biscuits
              1. 1/2 cup rice/pasta
            2. Vegetables, fruit, legumes
              1. veg 3-5serves daily, 1/2 cup - 1 cup
                1. Starchy potatoes, pumpkin, peas, parsnip, carrots, broad beans, watery (Spinach, cabbage, lettuce, broccoli, brusels, sprouts, zucchini, celery, tomatoes
                2. Fruit 2/4 serves daily,1 med or 150ml, 1 med or 1/2 cup
                  1. Citrus fruit or juices, other fruit
                  2. Legumes - 1 serve of vegetarian - 1 cup cooked
                    1. Beans, peas, lentals
                  3. Meat, nuts, milk
                    1. 1/4 - 1/2 nuts or 2 tbls peanut butter
                      1. 125g raw weight excluding fat and bone 1 egg = 25g meat
                        1. 300ml milk or 200g yoghert or 1/4 cup hard cheese
                        2. Fats, sweets, Desserts, cakes
                          1. Approx. 1 tbls max
