P6 logical gates

1. 1.OR gates- give a high output if any of the inputs are high.

   • If either input A/B=1 then output=1

2. 2. AND gates- give a high output if both inputs are high.

   • If both A+B=1 then output=1

3. 3.NOT gates- will give a high output if input is low

   • if A=0 output=1

4. 4.NAND gate- gives high output unless both inputs are high

   • if A+B=1 output would be 0

5. 5.NOR gates- high output if both inputs are low

   • if A+B=0 output =1

6. 6. XOR gate- output only high if only one of two inputs in high

   • if A/B but not both=1 output=1
