1. Encryption.

   • We use encryption to hide passwords,pins for your bank card and messaging.
   • Encryption can (be have a range of encrytption including a cipher) done by taking numbers or letters and muddling them up and then you use the muddled up letters into a letter or note.
   • If you have 128-bit piece of encryption would take a super computer 1 billion billion years which is older than the universe(14 billion years old)
   • A secure password includes lots of numbers, Lower/higher case letters and a variety plus a minimum of 8 characters in one password. The reason for needing a secure password is so someone can't steal the password by phishing it out of the website because you don't want people to find out you're password so you have to hide your passwords.
   • The only way you can decrypt a message is to have a key which is used in the process of creating the message.

2. Firewall and Anti-Vuirs.

   • The firewall controls which programs can send or receive data packets to the devices because it is a program that is run by the user as it is as if you run into a door you have to ask for permission for it to be opened.
   • The reason we need a fire wall is to stop data packets from entering the computer but they can enter with the users permission. The reason is good because it stops bad data packets entering the computers such as viruses such as Virus, zombie,worm and Trojan Horse.
   • A program that stops downloads which aren't as good as the regular games from the site as they may contain a virus which could break your computer.
   • If you have an up to date anti-virus then the firewall will be able to block even more bad data packets which could stop viruses.
     • Anti-virus means that it can scan you computer periodically and it can detect bad data packets and virus. Also then you would be able to quarantine.
   • Consequences of not having a good anti-virus software for your home,work and business is so people can't access your files and bring your repurtation down or to lose personal files.

3. Computing security.

   • When you are banking online with out a computer security a hacker can easily acsses your personal details such as passwords,pins for your bank,bank card and messaging.
   • Hacker can also acsess your computer by creating fake websites for games and when you click 'FREE DOWNLOAD' they quickly feed a virus into your computer and break your laptop/computer.
   • If you get an Email from someone you don't know and it contains a link don't open the link because it may be able to get your personal information and send it to the hacker who will leak it into the world(well maybe not the world but the may leak some your personal info).
   • When your logging in to websites or putting a secure password check if the website has a 'HTTPS//' if it doesn't then the website isn't as trust worthy the HTTPS//.
