     • One of aprox 26 hill forts within Gwent
       • Shares hill with modern housing estate, covered in dense woodland.
         • Overlooks the Usk valley and parts of the Severn Estuary.

   • • Tribal, prehistoric, Celts,
     • Gwent
   • Silures

3. What?

   • • Manmade enclosure, with buildings in interior.
     • Iron Age Hillfort

4. When?

   • Built: 600-300BC
     • Re-used by the Romans, and in early Medieval times. Archaeological evidence.
