1. Perimeter

   • You add up the lengths of all the sides
   • Given in cm, m, mm or whatever unit the question says.

2. Area

   • Rectangle
     • bh
   • triangle
     • 1/2bh
   • Parallelogram
     • bh
   • Trapezium
     • (a+b)h
   • Given in squared units.
   • For compound shapes, split it up into different shapes and work them out separately, but don't forget to add them together!
