- Phishing
- Phishing is when a spam email is sent, imitating that of a legitimate email from someone in distress or from a reputable company. it usually contains a false link to a imitation website where a gullible user would input their details to 'log in'. the person who sent the email will then take the details of the login and proceed to log in on the real website. this is done a lot with fake banking websites as the scammer will be able to get money fairly easily.
