Pulleys = Diameter of driven pulley / Diameter of driver pulley
Chain and Sprocket = Number of teeth driven sprocket / Number of teeth driver sprocket
Levers = Distance moved by effort / Distance moved by load
Efficiency = Mechanical Advantage / Velocity Ratio
Force (N) x Distance (Metres) = Torque (Nm)
Input Torque = Turning Force x Pulley Radius
Output Torque = Input Torque x Velocity Ratio
In rotary systems the turning effect of a force is known as torque
Moment of a force = Force x Perpendicular Distance

Clockwise Moments = Anticlockwise Moments
