  1. Absolute liability
    1. Where the defendant has no control over their cations but still remain at fault as seen in the case of R v Larsounner
    2. Strict liability
      1. Where no mens rea is required and are simply put at fault straight away such as speeding being a strict liability offence.
        1. Sweet v Parsley - growing cannabis
          1. Callow v Tillstone - sale of unfit meat
            1. Smedleys - cattapillar in food
      2. Voluntary intoxication - you are automatically liable if you are intoxicated due to recklessness.
        1. Vicarious liabiltiy - where one person is liable for the tort of another as seen in the case of Limpus v London Omnibus
