Why Do Muslims Promote Racial Harmony

1. Ummah

   • The brotherhood of Islam
   • Every Muslim is a brother to each other
   • The bond takes no account of what race a person is

2. Muhammad

   • His life shows that he treated everybody equal
   • "All mankind is from Adam and Eve... no Arab has superiority over a non-Arab" (Muhammad's last sermon)

3. Qur'an

   • "All people are equal... as the teeth of a comb" (Hadith)
   • "All Allah's creatures are his family" (Hadith)
   • "Men, we created you from a male and female and made you into nations and tribes that you might get to know one another" (Qur'an 49:13)
   • "Among his other signs are the creation of Heaven and Earth and the diversity of your tongues and colours. Surely there are signs for this in all mankind." (Qur'an 30:22)

4. Judgement Day

   • Muslims are taught that they will be judged in the way they lived their lives when trying to get into Paradise
   • They will be judged on their actions towards others, so they should treat everyone equally regardless of race
